❌ Tips for guides and drivers

Your journey begins with a morning pickup from Arusha. After a scenic drive through Maasai villages and local farmlands, you’ll arrive at Lake Manyara National Park. The afternoon game drive takes you through the lush groundwater forest, home to blue monkeys, baboons, and elephants. As you reach the open plains, watch for tree-climbing lions resting on acacia branches. Your first day ends with a sunset view over the Rift Valley before heading to your lodge for dinner and rest.
Start your day with an early morning game drive, the best time to spot predators on the hunt. The park is also home to hippos, buffaloes, giraffes, and over 400 bird species. A visit to the hot springs (Maji Moto) offers a chance to relax and admire the beautiful surroundings. Later, enjoy a picnic lunch by the lake, surrounded by flamingos and pelicans. In the evening, return to your lodge for a relaxing dinner under the African sky.

Today, explore the vibrant town of Mto wa Mbu, known for its diverse ethnic groups and traditional crafts. Visit a local banana plantation, rice fields, and a Maasai boma to learn about Tanzanian culture. In the afternoon, opt for a canoeing safari on Lake Manyara, offering a unique perspective of the park’s wildlife, including hippos and aquatic birds. Return to your lodge for a final night in this beautiful setting.

Enjoy a final sunrise safari, capturing breathtaking morning views of the Rift Valley. This last game drive is perfect for spotting any wildlife you might have missed before. After breakfast, begin your journey back to Arusha, where your unforgettable safari experience ends.
